Job summary

EthosEnergy is recruiting for an EH&S Specialist at the Bethlehem Energy Center, a Siemens-built plant in Bethlehem, PA. The role reports to the Facility Manager on site and focuses on coordination, implementation and support of HSE plans, policies, and compliance programs to improve EH&S performance.

Responsibilities include coordinating programs, conducting reviews, training employees, and interacting with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in industrial Health, Safety, and Environmental roles.
• Experience in combined cycle power generation facility preferred.
• Experience implementing EHS management systems.
• Track record implementing corporate HSE policies and procedures and/or developing site-level HSE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
• Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental reporting.
• Train employees on emergency response, spill and PPE plans.
• Chair safety committee and run weekly meetings.
• Review plant chemistry and environmental data to generate reports.
• Provide oversight to station environmental compliance programs.
