Job summary

Stonhard in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Safety and Compliance Lead to ensure safe operation of manufacturing and warehousing facilities, enforce OSHA standards, and train personnel on safety requirements.

This role emphasizes environmental compliance (40 CFR), fire codes, spill readiness, PPE enforcement, and incident investigations, with ongoing monthly safety meetings to support EH&S metrics across Fort Wayne sites.

Qualifications

• BS in Safety Management or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA regulations.
• Experience with fire codes and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA compliance across Fort Wayne manufacturing and warehousing facilities.
• Implement, conduct, and maintain OSHA programs, training and records.
• Maintain environmental compliance (40 CFR) including waste management and air/water rules.
• Coordinate spill response and emergency planning with EH&S leadership.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and site inspections across Fort Wayne facilities.
• Investigate incidents/near-misses and assign corrective actions.
