Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Compliance Specialist to maintain regulatory programs in air, water and waste management at our Suffolk, VA facility. You will evaluate and implement environmental programs aligned with regulatory and corporate requirements and support permitting, reporting and inspections.

Responsibilities include permitting support, data collection for site permits, regulatory liaison, environmental KPI tracking and waste management activities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Occupational Health and Safety.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing/industrial environmental systems field.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental reporting.
• Experience with air and water permits and RCMS.

Responsibilities

• Support construction project environmental permitting requirements.
• Assist with regulatory agency inspections and reporting deadlines.
• Maintain environmental recordkeeping and KPI metrics.
• Monitor waste, water and energy data for trends and cost savings.
• Prepare required permits, licenses or approvals.
• Collaborate on environmental auditing and emergency response readiness.
