Job summary

Ebi-LLC is seeking a dedicated EHS & Compliance Specialist to lead and maintain our compliance programs across customer, regulatory, environmental and social areas. You will coordinate audits, certifications, corrective actions and maintain current documentation.

Work closely with HR and management to onboard staff, track training, and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous compliance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments.
• Experience with programs such as C-TPAT, IWAY, FSC, OSHA, or environmental/social standards.
• Background in EHS, safety, auditing or related fields with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret policies and audit requirements with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance programs, audits, and deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS programs including safety inspections, incident documentation, training and OSHA compliance.
• Identify compliance risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external compliance audits.
• Coordinate with HR to onboard, orient, and train employees.
• Track safety and compliance training records and schedule refresher training.
• Assist with development and communication of EHS and compliance policies.
• Partner with management and staff to promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional EHS and compliance duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• -Lead and maintain EBI compliance programs, including but not limited to customer, regulatory, environmental, and social compliance requirements.
• -Coordinate compliance audits, assessments, certifications, corrective action plans, and required documentation.
• -Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure policies, procedures, and supporting documentation remain current.
• -Support EHS programs, including workplace safety inspections, incident documentation, safety training, OSHA compliance, and corrective actions.
• -Identify compliance risks and work with management to implement corrective and preventive measures.
• -Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external compliance audits.
• -Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure proper onboarding, orientation, and required training for new and existing employees.
• -Track and maintain required employee safety and compliance training records and assist with scheduling refresher or recurring training as needed.
• -Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of EHS and compliance policies and procedures.
• -Partner with management and employees to promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• -Perform additional EHS and compliance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• -Previous compliance experience is highly preferred, particularly within a manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environment.
• -Experience working with compliance programs such as C-TPAT, IWAY, FSC, OSHA, environmental, customer, or social compliance standards is strongly preferred.
• -Experience in EHS, safety, manufacturing, auditing, or a related field preferred.
• -Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• -Ability to interpret and apply policies, standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
• -Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• -Ability to manage multiple compliance programs, audits, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
