Job summary

PQ Corporation is seeking an EHS professional to manage and coordinate health, safety and environmental programs at our Augusta, GA site. You will liaise with state and federal agencies, track permit conditions, and drive improvements to the EHS management system.

The role includes conducting field inspections, preparing regulatory reports, and delivering training to frontline leadership. Travel to sites as needed and support PQ’s safety-first culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering, environment or science.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Excellent knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO14001, RC14001, ISO45001, ISO5001 or Responsible Care.
• Ability to drive EHS performance and address complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS project management support and regulatory interpretation.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and legal on reporting and compliance.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes affecting PQ.
• Perform site inspections to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Prepare EHS reports for permits and regulatory bodies.
• Support EHS Management System and corporate requirements.
• Conduct audits and contribute to capital project reviews.
• Provide training on health, safety and environmental topics.
