Job summary

Jobtailor in New Jersey offers a 10–12 week EHS internship that provides hands-on compliance and technical support to local site business partners. You will work on General Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs, complete meaningful projects, and learn to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements under direction.

The internship targets students pursuing safety or environmental science, with at least two years of coursework completed,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or a related technical program.
• Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
• Able to work full time for 10–12 weeks.
• Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes.
• Experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety or chemical manufacturing preferred.
• US or Puerto Rico resident; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS compliance and technical support to local site business partners
• Support compliance programs including General Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs
• Complete one or more projects during the 10–12 week internship
• Receive direction and implement corresponding changes
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions
