Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies in Eden Prairie, MN, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Co‑op/intern to support HSES programs in a regulated medical device environment. You will report to the EHS & Facilities Manager and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to apply EHS principles and strengthen safety culture.

Start May 2027 with a 3‑month summer or longer engagement; 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, with standard benefits and ongoing on‑the‑job learning

Qualifications

• Minimum Undergraduate students enrolled in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred experience in internship, co‑op, manufacturing, or safety roles.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
• Experience with data analysis, presentations, or project management.

Responsibilities

• EHS Program & Compliance Management: Update core site compliance programs and Permit to Work processes.
• Proactive Hazard Identification: Conduct safety walks and assist investigations using root‑cause methods.
• Employee Engagement & Culture Leadership: Co‑facilitate Safety Committee activities and safety communications.
• Emergency Preparedness: Plan and coordinate site fire drills and drills observations.
• Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives: Support waste reduction, energy efficiency, and conservation projects.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with manufacturing, site leadership, and Global HSES teams.
