Mativ is seeking a Safety Intern to support the Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership team at the Minneapolis Plant. This co‑op position offers hands-on involvement in deploying key EHS initiatives and policies at both facility and enterprise levels.

The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving and project management, with opportunities to learn regulatory requirements and contribute to a safety‑driven culture in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support EHS data collection, management and communication from facility to enterprise level.
• Assist in development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, training and programs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Develop knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations.
• Interact with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on various projects and initiatives.
