Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) co-op to join our Minneapolis Plant. This internship supports corporate EHS leadership with data, policies, and programs while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

You will contribute to data collection, local compliance, and cross-functional projects; preferred students pursuing a Bachelor's in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Prior internship or work experience in a safety-related position.
• A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills.
• Proven ability in problem-solving and decision making.
• Collaboration and teamwork.
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments at once.
• Hourly rate starts at $22.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or contribute to defined projects focused on improved EHS data collection, management, communication, from facility to enterprise - level.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, training and programs such as; MNOSHA, CWA, RCRA, SPCC, and ESG.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship,
• Develop working knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, health & safety regulations,
• Interact with site EHS leaders and corporate staff on various projects and initiatives.

Mativ is currently searching for an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) co-op to join our team. This co-op position is an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to corporate EHS strategic initiatives, and the important factors that make them successful.We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven intern to support the corporate environmental, health, and safety leadership team in deployment of key initiatives at the Mativ’s Minneapolis Plant manufacturing operations.
