Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Associate Manager to join our growing team in Southern California. The role will initially be onsite at the Costa Mesa HQ for the first year, with eventual work at a new Long Beach-made manufacturing campus, ensuring environmental health and safety programs meet federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities include leading accident investigations, coordinating with regulators, and implementing comprehensive EHS practices

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs.
• Experience in Cal/OSHA.
• Experience in 40 CFR Parts 260-279 Hazardous Waste Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, engaging with leadership, regulators, staff, and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple activities/projects and deadlines.
• U.S. Person status required for access to export controlled sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist accident/incidents investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventative actions.
• Serve as EHS interface with employees, managers, customers, auditors and regulators.
• Identify workplace hazards and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with departments to influence safe behaviors in the workplace.
• Manage hazardous waste including handling, labeling, and storage.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and standards (hazard communication, fall protection, LOTO, etc.).
