Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA/NIOSH/EPA regulations; pharma/lab/GMP environments preferred.
• CIH certification preferred; ability to travel 30-40%.

The role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to act as a technical subject matter expert for a growing global organization.

The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS, Chemical Hygiene, and Industrial Hygiene programs.
• Lead industrial hygiene sampling, exposure assessments, and API/surrogate testing supporting OEB and potent compound programs.
• Manage broader EHS programs at designated sites, including hazardous waste, LOTO, PPE, noise, machine guarding, incident investigations, audits, and CAPA tracking.
• Provide chemical safety training, regulatory guidance, and technical expertise while completing periodic site audits.

The Candidate

• BS/BA in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, EHS, or a related discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial hygiene, chemical safety, or chemical engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with chemical exposure assessment, IH sampling, and exposure-control strategies.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements; pharmaceutical, laboratory, or GMP environments are highly desirable.
• CIH certification preferred, with the ability to travel approximately 30-40%.
