Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a Technical Support Analyst III to join our team in Richmond, VA (Hybrid). The role focuses on shaping security profiles, managing user access policies for the Oracle Health EHR system, and providing Tier 1 support to end users.

You will work with the EHR Application team, ISO, and HIPAA compliance officer to ensure HIPAA adherence, develop and maintain security documentation, and participate in audits and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT experience in healthcare IT security.
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA/HITECH compliance.
• Experience with AD/SSO/MFA and identity management.
• Experience with Cerner/OHPAC security and access issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with IT teams and end users.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT infrastructure (networks, firewalls, DB security).

Responsibilities

• Map and maintain EHR positions and security groups.
• Monitor and enforce EHR access control policies.
• Define provisioning and offboarding procedures.
• Conduct internal security audits of the EHR app.
• Develop and maintain security policies and guidelines.
• Prepare security documentation and downtime procedures.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents for the EHR app.
• Collaborate to integrate security in deployments.
• Stay informed on emerging threats and best practices.
• Assist on internal and external audits.
