Job summary

The Informatics Solutions Engineer will provide programming and technical support for clinical application systems, including the electronic health record and related tools. This role leads small projects, develops documentation, and collaborates with HIT analysts to ensure reliable software management and clear cross‑team communication.

This position is remote in the Kansas City metro area with occasional on‑site meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics or related field with 3–5 years Healthcare IT experience.
• Alternatively, HS diploma/associates with 7+ years Healthcare IT experience.
• CPHIMS (HIMSS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee application and technology management activities for clinical systems.
• Lead project and program management efforts across HIT and IT teams.
• Serve as a Health Informatics resource for clinical departments.
• Report progress, issues, and milestones to the supervisor.
• Manage on-call coverage of roughly one week per month.
