Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst (EHR) to manage EHR enhancement requests, gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and coordinate Agile delivery between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The role requires 5+ years in business analysis, experience with EHR applications, and strong Agile/Scrum skills to drive delivery and ensure alignment with regulatory and patient-safety needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in a healthcare or EHR context.
• Experience supporting EHR applications and managing enhancement requests.
• Proficient in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience writing and tracking work items in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Manage EHR change requests and enhancement intake.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Evaluate requests based on regulatory, patient safety, credentialing, and operational needs.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
• Prioritize requests with IT leadership based on business needs and capacity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Manage Azure DevOps boards and track work items through completion.
• Maintain business documentation, process flows, and standards.
• Serve as the liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Guide end users through the request process and provide status updates.
• Track project KPIs and communicate status to stakeholders.
