Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks an EHR Acute Clinical Supervisor to lead the EHR Team across Nursing, Ancillaries, Physician and Behavioral Health Technical Teams. You will plan, implement and manage complex Cerner-based projects, coordinate with internal and external partners, and drive technology roadmaps while communicating risks and progress to executives.

You will mentor teammates, prioritize concurrent projects, and function with limited supervision in a dynamic healthcare IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT operations or systems support.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical components of Cerner across teams and stakeholders.
• Manage complex projects with variability and influence outcomes.
• Define strategy and technology roadmap for implementation projects.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and Business Partners on configuration status and timelines.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues and risks; communicate complex topics clearly.
