Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's with 2+ years in grant administration or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in education, grant administration, or program oversight.
• Knowledge of federal and state grant administration principles and compliance.
• Ability to review grant applications, reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Ability to interpret federal/state laws, regulations, and guidance for grant-funded programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve approximately 400 Education of Homeless Children and Youth (EHCY) grant applications within a 14-calendar-day review timeframe.
• Provide programmatic oversight and technical assistance to districts and grant recipients.
• Assist in the implementation, administration, and monitoring of the EHCY state grant program by conducting fiscal and programmatic reviews, monitoring grant activities, and ensuring compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze program records, reports, and documentation to support grant administration and agency reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen program quality and effectiveness.
• Participates in department, Agency, and professional development activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
