Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an EH&S Engineer to join a plastics manufacturing plant in Orange County. This on-site role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety training, and SOP development to support cGMP-regulated operations with ~75 employees.

You will report to the EH&S Director and participate in the 24-hour HAZWOPER team, ensuring environmental and safety standards are met across production processes. The ideal candidate holds a B.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related safety field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, ideally chemicals or materials.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER is ideal; 24-hour acceptable.
• Experience as EH&S engineer or process engineer expanding skills.
• Trains on LOTO/Confined Space/Fall protection or similar.

Responsabilités

• Maintain lockout/tagout procedures current and accessible.
• Conduct monthly in-person EH&S training sessions.
• Perform periodic EH&S inspections and audits.
• Participate in weekend safety meetings and committees.
• Draft EH&S SOPs and related documentation.
• Support 24-hour HAZWOPER team operations.
• Manage administrative duties in EH&S software systems.
• Assist in permit-based environmental activities (wastewater, storm water, air quality).
