Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking an EH&S professional based at a plastics manufacturing plant in Orange County to drive regulatory compliance and safety programs.

You will work with teams to maintain lockout/tagout, lead monthly EH&S trainings, inspections, safety meetings, and SOPs; participate in the 24-hour HAZWOPER team; and manage EH&S software. Reports to the EH&S Director and supports environmental activities.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Engineering in a relevant field (Environmental Sciences, OH&S).
3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in chemicals or materials.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (24-hour acceptable).
EH&S Engineer or process engineer seeking to expand skills.
Train the Trainer certification in LOTO/Confined Space/Fall protection or similar.

Responsibilities

Ensure lockout/tagout procedures are current and effective.
Lead monthly EH&S training sessions.
Perform periodic EH&S inspections.
Participate in weekend safety meetings and safety committees.
Write EH&S related SOPs.
Be a member of the 24-hour HAZWOPER team.
Administer EH&S software systems.
Assist in permit-required environmental activities (wastewater, storm water, air quality).
