Job summary

Carrier seeks an EH&S Facilities Technician to operate and maintain the utilities and building systems at our Fort Worth manufacturing facility, ensuring their availability and performance. The role supports installation and operational readiness across shifts.

The technician records interventions, tracks energy use, and ensures compliance with OSHA and safety standards while coordinating with contractors and teams to maintain reliable plant operations.

Qualifications

• Trade school or Technical School/Associate degree.
• 1+ years Environmental Health and Safety support experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Basic working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Experience supporting inspections, waste management and safety documentation.
• First-aid/CPR and emergency-response training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities and utilities (electrical distribution, water systems, HVAC, facility infrastructure, compressed air).
• Diagnoses and repairs faults in facilities systems.
• Supports installation and operational readiness of site utilities.
• Records interventions and utility consumption.
• Complies with all safety standards (OSHA, LOTO) on interventions.
• Coordinates with contractors when required.
• Owns the utility reliability, uptime monitoring and energy consumption tracking.
