Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Fort Worth facility to lead a team of technicians, manage preventive and predictive maintenance, and drive reliability improvements. You will oversee installation, commissioning, and ramp-ups while ensuring safety compliance and KPI accountability.

The role requires a Bachelors degree with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years in industrial maintenance, including 2+ years supervising technicians.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and CMMS.
  • Knowledge of TPM, autonomous maintenance and reliability metrics.
  • Strong safety orientation with OSHA/LOTO knowledge.
  • Willingness to support a multi-shift operation, including on-call.
  • Experience with equipment installation and integration.
  • Experience with PLCs and automated equipment.
  • Knowledge of CMMS and TPM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production equipment and facilities and data-driven reliability improvements.
  • Responsible for supporting equipment installation, commissioning, startup activities, and production ramp-ups.
  • Leads, schedules, coaches and develops the maintenance technician team across shifts.
  • Manages the maintenance plan, spare-parts inventory, and service providers.
  • Drives autonomous maintenance and TPM initiatives.
  • Ensure safety compliance (OSHA, LOTO, permits) on all interventions.
  • Owns the maintenance of KPIs, including equipment uptime, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance cost performance, and support of overall OEE objectives.
  • Strengthen accountability for reliability engineering practices, RCFA, and long-term asset performance improvements.
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, productivity and asset performance.
