Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Environmental Health, Safety & Emergency Preparedness Specialist in Scottsdale to ensure safety, compliance, and preparedness across the system. You will develop plans, conduct risk assessments, and supervise training programs while coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.

You will champion OSHA, NIMS, EPA, and other regulatory standards, drive continuous improvement, and lead incident investigations and after-action reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 4 years in emergency management, EH&S, or related field.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, CMS, NIMS) and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans and safety programs.
• Lead training, tabletop exercises, and full-scale drills; implement ICS.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance with multiple agencies and audits.
• Create and monitor safety metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement.
