Job summary

Dow Canada is seeking a Safety Compliance Lead to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This role ensures adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and supports our Path2Zero initiative toward net-zero emissions and sustainable operations.

You will monitor compliance, conduct risk assessments, train staff, and help integrate EH&S practices into plant operations, contributing to safety performance and a strong, collaborative safety culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of EH&S, OH&S, or a similar field experience.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Executes EH&S programs following structured processes, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Ensures environmental, health, and safety standards are integrated into plant operations to meet performance goals.
• Acts as a resource for plant staff, providing EH&S insights and compliance information.
• Serves as the designated contact for environmental and industrial hygiene concerns.
• Trains and supports teams in implementing EH&S protocols.
• Works toward achieving EH&S performance indicators and goals.
• Ensures completion of all necessary safety and regulatory compliance activities.
• Conducts environmental and industrial hygiene assessments, including monitoring and reporting.
