Beth Israel Lahey Health's Exeter Hospital is seeking a full-time Strength and Conditioning professional to coach teams, individuals and community groups. You will conduct sport-specific training, perform comprehensive assessments, and provide injury prevention education across pre-season to post-season cycles.

The role requires a High school diploma, 3 years' experience, CPR within 90 days, and CSCS within 6 months. 40-hour week, day shift; salary range $20.41–$31.79/hour, non-exempt staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength and conditioning and sport specific training to teams, small groups, individuals and community groups.
• Understand pre-season, in-season and post season programs to maintain max conditioning.
• Provide comprehensive assessment to identify strength and movement dysfunction and educate on injury prevention.
• May assist in the clinic as rehab support staff under therapist direction.
• Render first aid when appropriate and refer to hospital or physician as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and follow program guidelines and attend meetings.
• Promote and design programs and generate leads through marketing efforts.
• Assist with record keeping and data entry.

To maintain and/or seek advanced educational opportunities consistent with high level athletic performance training and remain current with industry trends.Job Description:Major Responsibilities:Provides strength and conditioning and sport specific training to teams, small groups, individuals and community groups as outlined in programs.Understands pre-season, in-season and post season strength and conditioning programs and sport specific criteria to maintain maximum physical conditioning for all age levels.Provides a comprehensive assessment and evaluation to identify overall strength, movement, screen for dysfunction and provide education in injury prevention.May assist in the clinic as a rehab support staff member under the direction of a therapist. Renders first aid when appropriate.Makes appropriate referrals to hospital, physician or other healthcare personnel. May participate in lectures, conferences and community events as needed.Collaborates with other personnel and works under the supervision of the Sports Performance Coordinator. Follows program guidelines and expectations as outlined.Maintains proper certifications and competencies.
