Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for EGSE to develop, qualify, and implement manufacturing processes to build, test and launch satellites and subsystems.

The role acts as the technical SME for EGSE, writes work instructions, troubleshoots non-conformances, performs DFM reviews, and collaborates with Quality to ensure compliance across processes.

Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education in engineering or related fields with a Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• 0-2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience authoring procedures, processes, and managing non-conformances.
• Relies on data and metrics to make well-informed decisions on behalf of Manufacturing.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for manufacturing of EGSE (test racks, harnesses, related assemblies).
• Author work instructions for Manufacturing Test Systems and sub-assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and drive corrective actions for test system non-conformances.
• Conduct DFM reviews for harnessing and ground support equipment.
• Collaborate with Quality to verify processes meet compliance requirements.
