Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or 3–5 years' related experience required.
• Attention to detail.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
• Night shifts, weekends and holidays may be required.
• Ability to lead a small team and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
• Forklift trained or certified.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hourly employees, training, planning, dispatching, and evaluating performance.
• Directs workers in measurement, inspection, and testing for quality control.
• Communicates with management to develop production standards and improve utilization.
• Applies statistical methods to determine processes and staffing.
• Coordinates with Production to design, test, and evaluate integrated systems.
• Ensures continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production.
• Monitors compliance with safety, health, and food safety policies; completes documentation.
• Fulfills additional tasks as assigned by Processing Manager and General Manager.
