Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and healthy workplace and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
• Rotate between two stations: Candler – removing damaged eggs; Breaking Machine Operator – removing inedible egg product.
• Determine if product meets specifications and take corrective action.
• Maintain GMP, HACCP, SQF standards and report conditions affecting safety or quality.
• Maintain a positive work environment and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
