Job summary

Cobb operates the Cleveland Hatchery in Cleveland, GA, seeking a team member to assist in packing eggs and maintaining hatchery equipment. The role requires standing shifts starting early morning and involves routine cleaning, sanitizing, and assisting the Egg Pack Lead to ensure smooth production.

Must have strong reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work in biosecure environments with strict safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer; no employment gaps >6 months in past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria: waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
• Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.

Responsibilities

• Pack eggs using the egg pack machine and strap cases of eggs.
• Clean and sanitize the Egg Pack Room, the egg pack machine, and related equipment.
• Monitor temperatures in hatchers and setters; record results.
• Hand transfer: packing/unpacking eggs by hand.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure hose, assist Leads, and keep a clean work area.
