Cobb in Missouri is seeking a dedicated team member for daily flock care and egg collection. You will mark eggs, identify them, and log production data, weighing feed and recording numbers as part of a busy poultry operation.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major gaps in employment within the past 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Mark egg with the appropriate hen number and/or use a scanner to identify the hen/egg and place in a plastic flat as eggs are laid.
• Record the number of eggs laid per flock and weigh and distribute feed to hens using scales and hoppers.
• Monitor flock health, report injuries or illness to lead/manager, and collect and dispose of flock mortality.
• Maintain flock environment by flushing water lines, keeping bedding and nests in good condition, and cleaning equipment weekly.
