Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and qualify eFuse devices. You will design experiments, analyze measurement data, and drive technology readiness for production applications.

The role involves collaborating with design, process, and reliability teams to define test structures, validate plans, and refine methodologies to ensure device performance and reliability across technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-5 years in semiconductor device engineering, characterization, or related field.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, JMP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize eFuse device performance and reliability.
  • Perform electrical characterization of eFuse structures and interpret measurement results.
  • Analyze data to understand device behavior, variability, and failure mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and reliability teams to define test structures and validation plans.
  • Develop and refine test methodologies for eFuse qualification across technologies.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and propose solutions for device performance or reliability issues.
  • Document results and provide clear technical communication to internal stakeholders and customers.
