EFP Elkhart: Mold Maintenance Technician

2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday)

3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday - Thursday)

Position Summary:

Mold Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, checking, and setting up molds in a safe manner.

Key Duties

Set up and prepare molds for each order change
Perform mold changes
Clean molds
Troubleshoot any issues encountered with mold change processes
Complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork
Complete/participate in all PPS activities as directed by supervisor(s)
Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Qualifications

Mechanical training/background and subsequent work experience preferred
Training or experience in air, steam, and water systems
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to use hands and fingers
Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 75 pounds
Ability to climb, balance, crawl, squat, kneel, bend, stoop, and reach
