Job summary

UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences seeks an EFNEP Program Assistant based in Tift County to support nutrition education programs for limited-resource clients. Responsibilities include assisting with developing and evaluating education activities under supervision, and coordinating volunteers and county EFNEP events.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to relate to diverse groups, and independence in judgment, with a typical schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting with development, organizing, conducting and will assist in evaluation of education programs for low income adults.
• Percentage of time 70
• Assisting with development, organizing, conducting and will assist in evaluation of education programs for low income youths.
• Percentage of time 15
• Recruits, trains and coordinates volunteers to assist with activities.
• Percentage of time 5
• Participates in in-service staff development.

• Assists with Extension/ EFNEP events in county
