LSU AgCenter seeks an Assistant/Associate Extension Agent (Nutrition) to lead EFNEP efforts in East Baton Rouge Parish. The role includes supervising EFNEP personnel, training volunteers, forming partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, faith-based organizations, and community groups, and ensuring timely reporting of outcomes to regional and state partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, community and family nutrition, public health, wellness/health, food science or closely related field.
• Master’s degree is desired.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership for EFNEP functions including planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting.
• Build collaborations with community organizations and partners serving EFNEP audiences.
• Coordinate Healthy Communities projects to improve access to healthy foods and physical activity.
• Establish and support community nutrition advisory committees and stakeholder groups.
• Recruit, train and support volunteers for EFNEP activities.
• Report program data to document outcomes and impact to supervisors and partners.
• Deliver integrated programming with LSU AgCenter colleagues to serve underserved populations.
