Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey's EFNEP program in Essex County is seeking a Community Assistant II to teach research-based nutrition education to limited-resource adults and youth. The role supports program staff and volunteers while promoting food security, dietary quality, physical activity, and food safety behaviors.

The CA will work with diverse participants across age groups and cultures, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional standards.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches limited-resource audiences using approved curricula.
• Maintains professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Conducts class sessions per-site schedule.
• Collects participant demographic and intake data.
• Educates youth and adults on nutrition topics.
• Encourages youth to share learnings with family.
