Job summary

The University of Massachusetts Amherst seeks a Materials Evaluation Training Manager for the EFNEP program. You will develop and implement program materials, evaluation, and statewide training in collaboration with the Nutrition Education Director and state office staff.

The role includes planning, reporting on evaluation impacts, updating curricula, managing training events, and ensuring materials meet federal guidelines, with a hybrid work arrangement in Amherst or Raynham.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience with nutrition education programs for diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, analyze, and report EFNEP evaluation activities and measures of impact.
• Develop and update EFNEP curricula and materials to meet program needs and guidelines.
• Plan, deliver, and coordinate statewide EFNEP training conferences, webinars, and regional trainings.
• Create EFNEP promotional materials aligned with NEP marketing plans and update graphics as needed.
• Develop orientation/training curricula for newly hired nutrition staff and assist supervisors.
• Help develop annual plans, budgets, and reports including materials and evaluation results.
• Draft a yearly marketing and publications budget reflecting state-wide needs.
• Collaborate with NEP state office staff on website updates and social media content.
• Coordinate publication inventory, procurement, and quotes; place orders as required.
• Produce a monthly internal NEP staff newsletter and coordinate translations with the Translation Center.
• Participate in program development and strategic planning for EFNEP; promote UMass NEP EFNEP externally.
