Job summary

UMass Amherst seeks a Materials Evaluation Training Manager to develop and implement program materials, evaluation, and training for EFNEP. You will work with the Nutrition Education Director and regional staff to update curricula, analyze evaluation results, and plan statewide training initiatives.

The role involves collaboration across state offices, developing promotional materials, and coordinating translations, with a hybrid work arrangement in Amherst or Raynham.

Qualifications

• Master of Arts or Master of Science in nutrition and five years of relevant experience.
• Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with the CDR; license/eligibility within 9 months of start.
• Experience working with nutrition education programs for low-income, low-literate, culturally diverse audiences.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, analyze, and report EFNEP evaluation activities and measures of program impact.
• Develop EFNEP evaluation tools, methods, and protocols.
• Plan, develop, deliver, and coordinate statewide training efforts for EFNEP.
• Ensure materials align with latest federal nutrition recommendations and update curricula.
