The University of Wisconsin-Madison's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) is responsible for administration of the extramural research grants and contracts to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. RSP currently manages an open portfolio of over $4 Billion with annual awards over $1 Billion.
The Effort Compliance Manager will manage the payroll compensation compliance reporting process at UW‑Madison to ensure the University is in full reporting compliance, including ensuring commitments to sponsors were met; ensuring that grants were not overcharged; and ensuring completion of the provisions of certification and training in accordance with UW-Madison compensation compliance policy and procedures. The Effort Compliance Manager will work closely with campus constituents (including Faculty, PIs, Certifiers, College/School dean's offices, Department Chairs, Department Administrators, Department Compensation Compliance Coordinators, University leaders, and RSP leadership) and external partners (including vendors and sponsors).
Bachelor's Degree is required.
The starting salary for this position is $80,000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
