The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior experience is helpful, and training will be provided to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must identify products by size, type, color or product code.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions precisely.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse and in a team
• Maintain certification if using powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Select products accurately and verify them correctly.
• Inspect equipment and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Receive load assignments from dock supervisor.
• Adhere to all work instructions and procedures.
• Unload from trailer and break down loads per PO specifications.
• Break down loads efficiently with minimal errors and align loads by PO line.
• Record losses, damages, shortages and overages.
• Submit packaging slips and note shortages or overages.
• Report equipment damages and pallet integrity issues.
• Train new team members on unloading processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area.
• Suggest improvements for more effective operations.
