Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately select products in the warehouse and prepare them for shipping, ensuring an orderly and safe setup. Under general supervision, you will read orders, assemble shipments, label products, and move items using an electric pallet jack to the dock area for staging.

You will work in extreme environments, stand for long hours, and adhere to GMP and SQF standards while maintaining a clean facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 - 1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product weighing 10 lb - 75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Stand/walk for 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move products to dock area for staging.
• Handle products with care and report damages.
• Perform daily equipment checks and sign off on cleaning duties.
• Sign in/out for equipment usage; follow GMP and SQF policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
