Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Planning Coordinator at the Easley, SC factory to act as the primary liaison for Sales and Customer Service on spare parts and accessories orders. You will create and maintain a Master Backlog Schedule, manage a 6-week rolling plan, and communicate lead times to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing overdue orders.

Collaboration across functions and timely updates to the Planning Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP preferred.
• Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to analyze, organize and execute plans for large amounts of data.
• Proficient with BI software.
• Must possess excellent time management, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate lead times for new Spare Part & Accessory orders.
• Create and maintain a Master Backlog Schedule for the Easley Factory to ensure on-time delivery and minimized overdues.
• Maintain a 6-week rolling plan with clear tracking of each order within that timeframe.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional setting to obtain information promptly and organized.
• Display daily/weekly updates to the Planning Manager.
• Proactively communicate with Sales regarding upcoming orders.
• Act as backup to coworkers in the Planning Department.
• The Planning Department also includes Pump scheduling; cross-training may be required.
