Job summary

Ventura Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Michigan. You will receive inbound shipments, prepare outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure production is supplied with needed materials.

Ideal candidates are organized, active, good communicators, and team players. The role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse, logistics, material handling, or manufacturing preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic computer skills, and ability to learn warehouse systems and scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Receive, inspect, verify, and organize incoming shipments
• Load outbound shipments accurately and on schedule
• Complete receiving and shipping transactions using scanners and warehouse technology
• Maintain accurate inventory and material locations
• Keep production supplied with the materials needed to run efficiently
• Communicate professionally with truck drivers, suppliers, and teammates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and dock area
• Assist with production activities when business needs require additional support
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
