Job summary

Keeco LLC in Martinsville, VA is seeking a full-time Packer to prepare pillows and comforters for shipment. The role involves packing, boxing, labeling, and ensuring products meet quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

Applicants must work well in teams, follow directions, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the production floor. Steel-toe readiness may be required for certain lines and shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to count and apply basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, division and multiplication with or without a calculator.
• Ability to work repetitive jobs at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the quality of the product meets the product specifications.
• Observes all Safety Rules and responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Performs duties of general help and job assignments as required.
• Meet productivity standards and neatly pack pillows/comforters in proper cartons with correct counts and sealing.
• May use the compression machine and label boxes per customer specifications.
• Oversee auto-packing process and stack cartons as required.
• Inspect comforters to ensure cleanliness and quality.
• Utilize air hoses to clean workstation and product.
