O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Texas to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, process COD deliveries, and collect payments. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, keep equipment secure, and assist with returns as needed.

The role supports customer service, merchandising, and stock tasks, with potential cashier duties when business requires. A clean driving record and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and maintained, and complete daily inspections before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, handheld devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy; perform other duties such as stocking and merchandising as needed.
• May assist customers as cashier or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
