Job summary

Wyndham Deerfield is seeking a dependable dishwasher to maintain a clean kitchen, wash and sort dishes, and assist with food prep as needed. You will ensure dish stations and equipment are ready, set up dish machines and sinks, and keep floors clean and dry throughout shifts.

You will follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, work well with kitchen staff, and stay alert in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/day/evening shifts may be required. Prior restaurant experience preferred.

• Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
• Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Prolonged periods walking or standing.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
• Must frequently immerse hands in water.
• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed.
• Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
• Washes wares by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
