Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Prep Worker to prepare and portion food items following daily worksheets and standardized recipes. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene, rotating stock, and ensuring a safe kitchen environment.

You will follow Aramark food safety standards, assist with keeping stations clean, and complete required training to support team goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred.
• Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.
• Follows proper food handling procedures.
• Makes sure food rotates to maintain top quality and freshness.
• Manages leftovers: cover, label, date, and store per standards.
• Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
• Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at shift end.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment that conforms to all food safety standards.
• Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Completes all required training.
