AAA Cooper Transportation in Memphis, TN seeks a dockworker to load and unload trailers, move freight across the service center, and arrange cargo for efficient space use, with occasional shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without mechanical handling equipment.
• Load freight to and from dock and trailers according to Bills of Lading and related docs.
• Plan loading to maximize space and minimize damage.
• Hook and unhook trailers; operate landing gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe condition per laws and AAA Cooper.
• Fuel trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Clean and maintain docks, trailers, yard and work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
