Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a reliable Dock Worker to support inbound and outbound freight operations at our facility. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient handling of cargo in a dock environment.

The successful candidate will move and track freight, follow OSHA guidelines, and assist with shipping/receiving tasks. This entry-level to mid-level position offers hourly compensation and benefits as part of our broader workforce program.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Safety-minded with a focus on compliance and best practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Willingness to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, reaching, standing, and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, load, and unload large and heavy freight (50–75 lbs) in a dock environment
• Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time
• Organize and direct freight to appropriate routes and line haul trailers
• Follow OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer-specific requirements
• Use proper handling techniques to prevent damage to customer freight
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with basic administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving
