Mike Hudson Dist is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be able to lift 25 pounds. The role requires punctual, professional service and accuracy in delivering goods to client sites.

The Delivery Driver will follow scheduled routes, load and unload inventory, and maintain delivery records. A DOT physical is required and forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Experienced at driving large vehicles.
• Physically able to lift 25 pounds.
• Forklift/pallet jack/hand truck experience is a plus.
• Reliable, customer-focused, with strong communication.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory matches delivery requirements.
• Follow scheduled routes for daily deliveries.
• Read maps or GPS and track routes.
• Deliver products in a timely manner.
• Load and organize inventory into vehicle and unload at destinations.
• Verify inventory matches manifest and accompanying documents.
• Record delivery confirmations and collect signatures/payments as appropriate.
• Deliver goods to client locations and report progress to warehouse.
• Maintain and submit delivery paperwork at end of shift.
• Report accidents or vehicle issues to supervisors.
