Job summary

Mike Hudson Dist is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. You will handle route planning, loading/unloading, and on-time deliveries with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.

Candidates should have a CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. DOT physical and strong time-management skills are required for daily operations. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Clean driving record with no moving violations.
Must pass a DOT physical.
Physically able to lift 25 pounds.
Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
Professional, dependable communicator with strong time management.

Responsibilities

Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
Follow scheduled routes for daily deliveries.
Read maps or GPS to determine routes.
Deliver goods promptly and safely.
Load and organize inventory from warehouse into vehicle.
Verify inventory matches the manifest and delivery documents.
Record delivery confirmations and collect signatures/payments as applicable.
Deliver to specified client locations and address issues with warehouse as needed.
Maintain delivery paperwork and report vehicle issues to supervisors.
