Seattle Dental Associates is actively seeking an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) to join our modern, digital dental office in downtown Seattle. The ideal candidate will bring clinical excellence, a compassionate approach, and a collaborative spirit to our patient-focused team.

Responsibilities include performing EFDA duties, assisting with procedures, maintaining sterilization protocols, and educating patients.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State EFDA certification is required.
• At least one year of EFDA experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Collaborative, compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform all expanded functions allowed under Washington State law.
• Assist with restorative procedures, take impressions, place sealants and provisional restorations.
• Support dentists and hygienists in providing efficient, high-quality care.
• Ensure proper sterilization, cleanliness, and infection control.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
• Keep detailed and accurate clinical records.
