Qualifications

• Active Maryland Radiology certification is required.
• EFDA training and certification consistent with Maryland regulations is required.
• Chairside experience in a general dental practice is preferred.
• Experience working in a professional office setting is required.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
• Coronal Polishing Certification encouraged.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental treatment by escorting them to the operatory, ensuring comfort, and reviewing required documentation.
• Assist the doctor during dental procedures with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Anticipate provider needs and maintain a smooth clinical flow throughout procedures.
• Chart clinical notes accurately and in real time during treatment.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post-procedure care instructions.
